Business Development (Electrical Service)

Position Profile
The role of the Business Development Electrical Service is to drive the development of sales in our electrical service business in the Ontario marketplace while consistently providing growth and value to the sales team.

The goal of the Business Development associate is to increase the ease of which clients conduct business with RESCo by providing a single company voice and viewpoint to customer inquiries. The successful candidate will report directly to the Vice President of Partner Development.

Responsibilities:
• Generate leads, approach and build relationships with key companies and close deals with support from company leadership team and key partners
• Develop new accounts and coordinate support resources for existing clients
• Initiate, manage and close all RFQs/RFPs for accounts
• Create documented account plans and maintain records of account activity within a sales database
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision makers within all client organizations
• Manage customer satisfaction and escalate any customer concerns internally with other support staff
• Conduct strategic account review processes and update management on account developments
• Develop and maintain continuous sales activity in order to meet or exceed assigned sales quotas
• Provide feedback on sales quotas, performance and developments with new accounts
• Adhere to RESCo’s policies and procedures and perform all job functions in a safe and helpful manner

Qualifications:
• 7 to 10 years’ experience in a business development role in the electrical industry
• Proven ability and strength in communicating effectively with clients and staff, both externally and internally
• Professional, friendly and excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong ability to work independently to complete tasks with minimum supervision
• Proven strength in an ability to multi-task and commitment to meeting deadlines by prioritizing heavy workloads and maintaining organization
• Strong command of the English language, both written and oral
